The park has a total of 80 km of trails, from easy flow trails to giant jumps, to the steepest and most technical double black diamond trails.

Whistler is one of the best places to start downhill riding.

The bike park is has so many trails, which are gradually increasing in difficulty. This makes it possible to start with an easy trail and work your way up to the harder ones.
Here a quick example, what trails you could work your way up if you want to learn how to shred jump trails:
Start with something easy like B-Line, with small jumps. If you can clear all of them try some bigger jumps at Crank it Up, after that A-Line, then Dirt Merchant till you end up hitting Crabapple hits.

Who learns to ride downhill in Whistler has another big benefit:
You will learn from the best! Whistler has so many riders who are really good. Just the mindset you get when you see what tricks people do or how fast they ride the trails is a huge advantage. You see what is possible on the bike and try things that you probably wouldn’t have thought of otherwise.
You can also talk to the pros and get tips from them because you can meet them in the lift or on the trail. Especially the locals are very open and nice and are easy to talk to.

Especially for Pros, the bike park is amazing.

The earlier you buy the ticket, the more reasonable it is. If you are planning a trip to whistler buy the bike park pass online before you visit and you will save a lot of money. You can also consider taking the season pass, half-day pass and riding trails outside the park in the morning to save money.

Save time not waiting in line

On busy days I would recommend using the Creekside Gondola, not only you will more likely find a parking space, but also the line for the gondola is way shorter. You can still reach all trails from there.
You can also save a lot of time using the single line.

Ride till it is dark

In Summer the lift is open till 8 pm what is already very late, but after that, you can choose a trail, where you check that you are the last on the trail and get one ride more.
